Attendance

Good attendance is essential to ensure that children are in school, ready to learn and make the most of their education. We greatly value the support of parents and carers in ensuring that children attend regularly and arrive and leave on time.

The Head of School is only permitted to authorise absences in absolutely exceptional circumstances.

If a child has been absent for a significant period - whether due to frequent short absences or one extended absence - we will contact parents or carers to discuss what support can be put in place to help prevent further absences or late arrivals.
